GTS

GTS was a total battle between two Ferrari 575s, two Corvette
C5-Rs and three Ferrari 550s! Corvette made a clean sweep taking
1st and 2nd place in GTS, leaving the rest for the Ferrari 550s to
share. Barron Connor disappointed with both cars retiring from the
race, both in the 16th hour of the race!
It was easy to get hold of these seven cars. Carrera did the #61, so I
bought two and had Milan Tomasek doing the #62 number and drivers
names. FLY did #64 and again I bought two and Milan changed the
numbers and drivers names for #63. SCX did the Ferrari 550 and Milan
has already done #66 for me and I have two more in the mail for Milan
for the last two 550s.

GTS: Under the ACO rules, Grand Touring cars are divided into two
categories, Grand Touring 1 (GT1, formerly GTS) and Grand Touring 2
(GT2, formerly GT). The GTS cars are more powerful than the GT cars.
